The candidate should have expertise in analysis of failures and the techniques required to identify and solve problems in a high reliability cost effective product. The iterative design during the product development requires suggestions of mitigation methods in response to regulatory failures. This includes providing feedback and recommendations regarding electrical/mechanical design, based on simulations or test results from the EMI/EMC lab. The candidate will be responsible for the EMI/EMC design of sub-systems. The job candidate will have a thorough understanding of EMI/EMC standards as they pertain to military and commercial applications along with background in relevant measurement equipment and simulation software.
